Our vision is to see the Gospel transform everything – ourselves as individuals, our church, our city, and the world.

By 2020, we desire to see that vision expressed in our church as a body of thousands of people, gathering in locations throughout the Louisville area, and planting churches all over the world that draw many more un-churched people into a relationship with God.

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”

I am so thankful for God allowing Simon and I to be a part of the Sojourn family. We strive to not take for granted the gift of brothers and sisters with a common love of Christ. We were having dinner with some Sojourn friends late last summer and asked them for their insights into our hearts, any areas where they felt we needed growth or rebuke.

I was so thankful that this was responded to honestly, gently and with complete love. My friends let me know that my concerns over the state of the world, our nation in particular, had started to be seen as anxiety. I am so thankful for a community that spurs me on to pray for my leaders without losing hope in my one true king. I am so frequently driven to the end of myself, and forced to turn upward and with thanksgiving continue my journey as a wife and mom.

There are a number of my friends and family at Sojourn who I try to ask regularly for insight into my weaknesses. These are people who I trust and pursue, and expect that God in His wisdom will continue to use these people to change my heart. It is so hard to see my own sin sometimes, because of denial or comfort with it, perhaps. To be so exposed is not comfortable, but a blessing nonetheless.
