Our vision is to see the Gospel transform everything – ourselves as individuals, our church, our city, and the world.
By 2020, we desire to see that vision expressed in our church as a body of thousands of people, gathering in locations throughout the Louisville area, and planting churches all over the world that draw many more un-churched people into a relationship with God.

I grew up in church and am a part of a loving Christian family. However, until Ben and I started coming to Sojourn and attending community group (I remember feeling like this was not an optional part of attending Sojourn), I found it very easy to hide in church and act like a “good Christian” when I was really carrying around so much baggage. Come to find out, everyone around me was too!
But the difference at Sojourn was so eye-opening for us…people were being real about confessing sin and desiring to live gospel centered lives. This was a totally new concept for me-no church I had ever been to before had ever forced me to examine my sin like in that first community group we attended. It was unbelievably refreshing for me at the time, and I grew to love my Sojourn Community very quickly.
We bonded so closely simply through our common need for grace. Since that time, God has taught me through many other people at Sojourn what it actually means to live a life where the gospel is a part of it every day. I’ve never in my life been more challenged and deeply loved as I have in my community here.
